The Children, Youth, and Family Consortium.
Established during the Fall of 1991 to build the capacity of the University of Minnesota and Minnesota communities to use research, influence policy and enhance practice to improve the well-being of Minnesota’s children, youth and families. The CYFC website contains best practices research, seminar and training events, as well as links to other youth and family development organizations.
Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota
“Mentoring is a committed relationship between an adult and a youth focused on developing the character and capabilities of the young person.” The Mentoring Partnership’s Training Institute offers technical assistance and training support to help start, maintain and sustain quality mentoring initiatives.

Minnesota Department of Health-Maternal and Child Health
Community Youth Development Insitiute
The Institute supports the education, training and professional development of adults who work with and on behalf of young people. Institute staff can provide community-based technical training.
School of Public Health: Maternal & Child Public Health
The Center for Leadership Education in Maternal and Child Health focuses on health promotion and disease prevention among women, children, adolescents, families, and communities through education, research and practice. The center offers newsletters and videoconferences on family and adolescent related issues.
Youth Community Connections
Youth Community Connections is an advocacy alliance of public and private organizations that offer and support youth development. Founded in 2001, YCC's mission is to ensure that all Minnesota communities have options for children and youth to learn, develop, and contribute during non-school hours.
